Genesis 2:7 states that man was created by God from the dust of the earth. God breathed into man the breath of life, and he became a living soul. God decided it was not good for Adam to be alone (Genesis 2:22). God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, then He took one of his ribs and from it created the first woman who was named Eve.

Adam called his mate woman, which means “she-man” or “joined to man,” because she was taken out of man. This is where the word “woman” originated.

Genesis 2:26-27 documents that God created both male and female in His image:

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. (Genesis 1:26-27)

Adam and Eve were told by God to:

-Be fruitful.

-Replenish the earth.

-Subdue the earth.

-Have dominion over every living thing on earth. (Genesis 1:28)

It is interesting to note that God’s first command to man and woman was to “be fruitful.” Spiritual fruitfulness is a Biblical concept traced from this initial command to the final harvest among the nations prophesied in the closing book of Revelation.

Adam and Eve were to be fruitful in each area of their triune nature, physically, spiritually, and mentally as they replenished the earth, subdued and took dominion over it.

Many believe that women’s only purpose here on the earth is to marry, work a job, bear and raise children and ‘go to church’ to be told how to cook well, take care of husband and children and allow men to dominate them and they have no voice.

But from the beginning, women have been created to help and assist, subduing the earth and to have dominion. It is past time that the world begins to understand that women have been created by God’s divine design and that they are women of right design.

Rise up Women!  Be that Queen that you have been created to be here in the earth.  I have great confidence in you and stand in partnership with you that you be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Stay blessed

Introduction To The W.O.R.D. Fellowship – Women of Right Design Fellowship

Down through the years we have been bombarded with issues regarding women.

  • We deal with the “women’s liberation” calling for equal rights for all women across the globe and the attitudes from men that oppose such an idea.
  • Many nations require the age old tradition demanding women to been seen and not heard, locked down in total subjection and having no voice or even opinion.
  • Bible scholars and theologians have debated the role of women working within the confines of the Church.
  • It has been openly broad cast of the many philosophers, psychologists, and educators their diverse views on womanhood.

The purpose and focus on women in society has been a subject of discussion and debate for many years.  The modern day women’s liberation movement has responded in major ways causing in some cases adverse reactions to the issues that women face on a daily basis.

From the time of Eve, there has always been that movement for women’s equal rights and seeking out liberation even from the rules that God had placed in the very beginning.  But when women can seek after the heart of God and look to Jesus as the Author and Finisher of their faith is when women will become truly liberated.  There are principles and patterns to be observed and followed in God’s Infallible Word governing womanhood.

The W.O.R.D. fellowship seeks out in the Bible all that it teaches regarding women and the issues that women face all over the world.  The desire of this fellowship is to become a source of reference looking at scripture passages about women and even studying the things that women in the Bible had to face and undergo in their lives.

We pray that all will hear the voice of Yahweh on this very sensitive matter and subject of women and may all Women come to discover that they have been created by God’s Divine Design which is the Right Design.
